Triple function: Pre, Pro and Postbiotic
Vetilea Enteric is a nutritional supplement to help in case of gastrointestinal disorders, especially in cases of dysbiosis. For example, in gastroenteritis, inflammatory bowel disease, diarrhea, antibiotic treatments, diet changes, malabsorption syndrome and stress situations.
Vetilea Enteric contains a combination of prebiotics, Enterococcus faecium, tributyrin, minerals and vitamins that have a global action: regulates digestive balance, optimizes epithelial function, strengthens the immune response and promotes faster recovery.
Inulin, beta-glucans and mannan-oligosaccharides are soluble fiber that acts as a prebiotic, being highly fermentable fiber that acts as a regulator of intestinal transit and supports the immune system. Enterococcus faecium acts as a probiotic, stabilizing the intestinal flora. Zinc, selenium and vitamin B12 contribute to the maintenance of intestinal mucosal integrity and regulate the immune system. Tributyrin (tri- and di-glycerides of butyric acid) is a postbiotic compound that helps to maintain homeostasis and as a source of energy for enterocytes.
Flavoring and flavoring give it excellent palatability.

Frequent questions
It is a natural component of the intestinal microbiota that contains encapsulated viable live cells. It is a probiotic that helps reduce intestinal permeability, increases mucous secretion, increases the production of defensins, synthesizes short chain fatty acids (SCFA), and stimulates the immune system. A significant improvement in stool quality has been demonstrated after administration of this strain. In addition, this probiotic has the EFSA approved claim as a gut flora stabilizing additive in dogs and cats.
Inulin is a soluble fiber of plant origin that acts as a prebiotic, serving as food for beneficial intestinal bacteria and promoting the production of compounds that improve digestive health. Mannooligosaccharides (MOS), obtained from the cell wall of yeasts, are also prebiotics, but their main action is to prevent pathogenic bacteria from adhering to the intestine and, at the same time, to stimulate the growth of beneficial microbiota.
Beta-glucans function as soluble fiber that reaches the colon, where it is fermented by the microbiota, producing compounds that strengthen intestinal balance; they also interact with immune cells in the digestive mucosa, modulating the response of the immune system and improving defense against pathogens.
Tributyrin is a stabilized form of butyrate. Butyrate is the short-chain fatty acid (SCFA) used preferentially by enterocytes (the cells of the small intestine) as an energy source. It acts by stimulating their growth and differentiation and improves barrier function. In addition, it helps repair the mucosa after injury and prevents the growth of harmful bacteria due to its low pH.
Yes, the daily dose should be mixed with food, preferably wet.
It can be given with medication but it is preferable to space the two doses. If antibiotics are being taken, it is preferable to give Vetilea Enteric about 3 hours after the antibiotic.
The guideline can be between 7 days and one month depending on the cause of the dysbiosis and according to the veterinarian’s recommendation.
Its use has not been tested with pregnant females, therefore its administration is not recommended.
Pectin acts both as a prebiotic and as a stool bulking agent.
Yes, Vetilea Enteric can be used to prevent digestive problems, for example when changing diet or if stressful situations are foreseen (travel, etc…).
Vetilea Enteric is sold online to the end customer only and exclusively on vetilea.com with the recommendation of the veterinarian.
