SEPTOSTIL® is a sterile ophthalmic solution indicated for dogs, cats, horses not fit for consumption and pet rabbits.
Relieves dryness, irritation and redness caused by external agents (allergens, pollution, dust, excessively dry environment, sunlight, etc.).
Polyvinyl alcohol has similar characteristics to the tear film and forms a protective layer for the eye, thus prolonging its nourishing action and Dexpanthenol helps physiological re-epithelialization, while the antiseptic component present (hexamidine disethionate, polyhexanide hydrochloride and edetate disodium) protects the ocular tissues.

Steps for safe and effective application
- Remove the safety ring by lifting the tab, remove the stopper from the bottle and hold it between the thumb and forefinger of the dominant hand.
- Keep the animal’s head still by holding the muzzle with the non-dominant hand.
- Place the dominant hand to the side, above the animal’s head, so that the outer edge of the little finger pulls slightly on the upper eyelid to facilitate exposure of the eye.
- Place the vial over the eye and instill 1-2 drops of the solution in the eye 2-3 times a day, applying light pressure on the body of the vial taking care not to touch the eye with the tip of the vial.
- Carefully close the cap of the bottle after each use.
- Reward the animal after application.
COMPOSITION and format
- Polyvinyl alcohol 1.25%, dexpanthenol 5%, hexamidine disethionate 0.050%, polyhexanide hydrochloride 0.0001%, methylsulfonylmethane, edetate disodium, dibasic sodium phosphate, monobasic potassium phosphate, purified water.

Septostil son unas gotas oculares como manejo coadyuvante reepitelizaante y antiséptico en pequeñas erosiones, queratitis, conjuntivitis alérgica, profilaxis pre y post quirúrgica.
Los componentes antisépticos de Septostil® actúan mediante lisis celular, sin acción antibiótica. El dexpantenol facilita la actividad de división celular durante el proceso de cicatrización y reparación de la córnea y la conjuntiva. El alcohol polivinílico contribuye a la hidratación y a la absorción del dexpantenol.
Una vez abierto se puede usar durante 30 días.
